Payments and Conditions

When you book directly through ecoTravel Portugal website, you should pay the total amount established. But, if you prefer, you can contact our team and follow the next terms:

• 20% once availability is confirmed;
• 80% up to 10 days of the arrival date to Portugal.

At the time of booking, the customer should deposit 20% of the total price of the trip, paying the remaining 80% within 10 days before departure. However, If the reservation is made 10 days (or less) before the departure date, the total price of the trip must be paid at the time of booking, subject to confirmation by the suppliers.

Beyond this situation, in exceptional cases conditioned by the partners themselves and/or times of the year, the total payment may also be required upon reservation or confirmation of travel services, or on specific dates. ecoTravel Portugal reserves the right to cancel any reservation whose payment has not been made under the conditions mentioned above.

When you book a reservation for a Tour through the website, you should make the full payments with Credit Card. The payment with credit card is processed in a safe way, from your card to ecoTravel Portugal’s bank account (Ecotravel, Lda. Group) through a third entity which processes the payment (Redunicre).

We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard and Visa. There is no charge or service fee for processing credit card payments. Any inherent fee for this transaction will be charged directly to our company.

In compliance with new safety rules circulated by VISA International and Europay/Mastercard International, since April 1, 2001, all applications, in order to authorize the conclusion of the transactions using cards of those systems can only be processed by Redunicre with the provided security code (CVV2/CVC2) included in their cards. The security code is a three-digit number, printed on the back of the card, after the number, right next to the signature of all VISA and Europay cards.

For bookings made with our offices, you can also pay through Bank Transfer (this method is not available for online reservations). Bank Transfer doesn’t include the payment of any additional fee.

If you need to cancel your booking, you should notify us immediately. Cancelling a book with ecoTravel Portugal can result in cancellation fees applied by us. Please, check the following terms:

• More than 30 days before the scheduled departure: there is no cancellation fee;
• From 30 to 07 days before the scheduled departure: 80% deposit refund;
• Less than 07 days: 100% cancellation fee.

When the booking includes flight (air), accommodation or other customised services, this amount may not be refundable in full. All bookings made are subject to a cancellation fee of EUR 30.00 (thirty euros).

According to the decree law no. 144/2015, we inform that in order to solve consumption conflicts, you must contact the Arbitral Committee of Tourism of Portugal.
