The Douro region, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its unique and incomparable landscapes and the production of the internationally acclaimed Port Wine.
DAY 1 AMARANTE | PESO DA RÉGUA | PINHÃO
Our first stop will be at Amarante where you can admire the magnificent São Gonçalo Church and Convent, take a walk through the bridge over the Tâmega River, and explore the historical centre.
The next stop will be the village of Galafura, near Peso da Régua, so that we can visit the region’s most breathtaking viewpoints. Then it’s time to visit Pinhão. As well as seeing the famous train station full of tiles, you’ll also take a guided tour with a tasting at a famous winery, where you’ll learn more about the production of Port wine.
