The Douro region, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is known for its unique and incomparable landscapes and the production of the internationally acclaimed Port Wine.
This tour starts in the city of Porto and heads towards the Douro Valley. Our first stop will be at Amarante where you can admire the magnificent São Gonçalo Church and Convent, take a walk through the bridge over the Tâmega River, and explore the historical centre.
The next stop will be at the Galafura viewpoint, to see one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the region. After the contemplation, we will enjoy a traditional lunch, tasting the best of Douro cuisine.
Then it’s time to visit Pinhão. In this charming village in the region, we will take a 1-hour panoramic cruise on the Douro River, enjoying the vineyards and natural landscapes.
We end the day with a visit to a famous winery, where we can taste the region’s wine and learn about the production process of Port Wine.
