A single day in the Algarve is a symphony of sun-kissed shores and rich history. Enjoy this tour around the most emblematic places of this region, such as Silves, Monchique and Cape St. Vincent.
DAY 1 SILVES | MONCHIQUE | VICENTINE COAST | CAPE ST. VINCENT
In this full day trip, our first destination will be the city of Silves, the old capital of the Algarve region. Here we will see the imposing Castle, from where we can marvel at the magnificent landscape. You will also have time to admire the magnificent Gothic Cathedral and stroll through the medieval streets next to the Castle.
We continue towards the Monchique mountain range, where you can observe the luxuriant beauty of its vegetation. We will visit the small and charming spa resort of Caldas de Monchique, with springs that have proven medicinal properties. We continue along the winding road that will take us to the highest point in the Algarve, Fóia, which is 902m above sea level. Regional lunch.
After lunch we head for the Vicentine Coast, where we will visit some of its fantastic beaches. We then head to Cape St. Vincent, the most south-westerly point in Europe. Finally, we pass through the small fishing village of Sagres. End of our services.
