DIA 1 Ponta Delgada | Ribeira Dos Caldeirões | Vila Do Nordeste | Povoação
Meeting point in Ponta Delgada and beginning of the tour. Our first stop will be Ribeira dos Caldeirões, which belongs to the parish of Nordeste. Here, you can see a beautiful waterfall, traditional watermills and gorgeous gardens. Passing through the picturesque village of Nordeste towards the beautiful viewpoints of Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, located on the eastern tip of the island, you will see the famous Arnel lighthouse. We will then head towards the town of Povoação. Time for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll pass through Faial da Terra. Afterwards, there will be a guided tour of the historic center of Povoação and the fishing port, where you can enjoy the tranquility of this place. On the way back to Ponta Delgada, along the south coast of the island, we will pass through Furnas, where you can see its huge lagoon. End of our services.
