Tour in the Douro Region with cruise, meals and wine tasting

The trip begins with a cruise from Vila Nova de Gaia pier to the city of Peso da Régua. Once on board, enjoy breakfast while admiring the riverside landscapes of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. During the cruise through the Douro Region, we go up two dams. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch on board.

We arrived in Régua in the afternoon and continue our journey to a winery that produces Port Wine. Visit this marvellous winery, learn more about wine production and taste the delicious and unique Port Wine. After this visit, our guide will take you to your hotel. Dinner at the hotel and accommodation in the Douro Valley.

Breakfast and departure for Lamego to visit the monumental Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. Descending the steps of the Sanctuary is optional. We continue our tour with a transfer to Ucanha. We will then take a break for lunch in a typical restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will start with a visit and a sparkling wine tasting. Then we will visit the Monastery of São João de Tarouca (guided tour). After the visit, we return to Lamego to recover our energy with a tasting of the “Secrets of Lamego” (typical delicacies and wines), ending with a stroll along the Lamego Avenue.

At the end of the day, we’ll return to the hotel, where dinner will be served.

Breakfast at the hotel. We leave towards Pinhão. We will begin with a walk through its streets, followed by a 1 hour long cruise aboard a famous Rabelo boat.

Then we will visit a winery, with a tasting and a traditional lunch (a typical meal cooked by the fire of a fireplace in iron pots). There will also be a visit to the gardens and a Moscatel wine tasting. After the visit, we return to Porto. Arrival at Vila Nova de Gaia Pier. End of our services.
