A trip to the capital of Galicia, a pilgrimage destination

Departure from Porto. We start our journey towards Spain. Santiago de Compostela is an important city on the historic routes that have led pilgrims there for centuries, on the famous “Camino de Santiago” routes. On this day trip to the capital of Galicia, you can visit the Gothic and Baroque Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Take the opportunity to stroll through the narrow medieval streets of the historic centre and try the traditional food.

After exploring Santiago, we will return to Portugal. On the way back, we’ll visit Valença do Minho, in Portugal, surrounded by its biggest tourist attraction: the fortress built in the XVII century. This city is also known for the “Coração de Viana” (Heart of Viana), a piece of Portuguese jewelry, a true gem of Portugal.
