Itinerary

  • DAY 1 LISBON

    Upon arrival at the airport, our driver will give you a warm welcome and take you to your hotel. Check-in and accommodation in Lisbon.

  • DAY 2 LISBON | SINTRA | CABO DA ROCA | CASCAIS | ESTORIL

    Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting point at Marquês de Pombal for a half-day tour around Lisbon. We will visit the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and the Jerónimos Monastery Church, a true jewel of Manueline art. Visit (included) to the National Palace of Ajuda (or National Coach Museum, on Thursdays).

    We’ll take a quick lunch break and then head to Sintra to visit the Pena Palace, one of the “Seven Wonders of Portugal”. After the visit, you will have free time to explore the town’s medieval streets, enjoy the landscape of the Serra de Sintra and taste the region’s traditional sweets, such as the famous “travesseiros” and “queijadas”.

    We will head to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe. The journey is along the Atlantic coast, so you can have an incredible panoramic view, with an optional stop at the impressive Boca do Inferno.

    Our next destination will be the bay of Cascais, famous for its beaches and busy nightlife. Finally, we will take a panoramic tour around Estoril, home to the largest casino in Europe.

    Return to Lisbon. Accommodation.

  • DAY 3 LISBON | PORTO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Our driver will take you to Oriente station, where you will catch the train heading to the north of Portugal. When you arrive at Campanhã station in Porto, our driver will be waiting for you.

    After checking in at the hotel, in the early afternoon we will take a tour of the city of Porto.

    We’ll visit emblematic sites such as Sé Cathedral, Santa Catarina Street, Lello Bookshop, Clérigos Tower, São Bento Train Station and its beautiful tiles, the Douro River and much more.

    Finally, the tour includes a visit and wine tasting in one of the region’s famous Port Wine Cellars.

    Return to the hotel.

  • DAY 4 PORTO | BRAGA | GUIMARÃES | PORTO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting at São Bento train station and start of the journey to the Minho Region.

    Our first stop is Braga, where we will discover the magnificence of its Cathedral and the famous Sanctuary of Bom Jesus. Lunch included.

    Afterwards, we will travel to Guimarães, known as the ‘‘Birthplace of Portugal’’. We will visit the Castle, birthplace of D. Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal, and we will walk through the medieval streets of its old and renowned Historical Centre. You’ll have the chance to visit his castle.

    Return to Porto and accommodation.

  • DAY 5 DOURO VALLEY

    Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Douro Valley, where Port Wine is made. The first stop will be Amarante, where you can see the Church of São Gonçalo, the bridge and the historic centre.

    Next, we’ll visit the São Leonardo de Galafura viewpoint, one of the most beautiful in the region. Lunch in the Douro region.

    The last destination will be Pinhão, where you will have the opportunity to take an hour-long cruise on a Rabelo boat and visit a famous winery, with wine tasting included.

    At the end of the day, we return to Porto. Accommodation.

  • DAY 6 AVEIRO | COIMBRA | LISBON

    Breakfast at the hotel. The day will start with a visit to the city of Aveiro, the “Venice of Portugal”, where you can see its moliceiros boats and taste the delicious sweet “ovos-moles”. Free time for lunch.

    Then we’re off to Coimbra, the “City of Students”, to see one of the oldest universities in the world and the spectacular Church of Santa Isabel, famous for the miracle of the roses.

    Transfer to Coimbra railway station and return to Lisbon. In Lisbon, transfer to the hotel.

    Accommodation in Lisbon.

  • DAY 7 FÁTIMA | BATALHA | NAZARÉ | ÓBIDOS

    Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting point at Marquês de Pombal. The trip starts towards Fatima, the center of the Catholic faith in Portugal, exploring the Shrine and taking part in religious activities. Lunch included.

    In the afternoon we set off for Batalha to visit its monastery, a Gothic wonder and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then we head to Nazaré, famous for its beaches and surfing, and enjoy its historic center and panoramic views.

    We finish the tour in Óbidos, a medieval town with cobbled streets, rustic houses and an imposing castle.

    Return and accommodation in Lisbon.

  • DAY 8 RETURN

    Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. At the agreed time, our driver will take you to Lisbon airport. End of our services.
