DAY 1 LISBON
In this Full Day Tour, we will start our journey with a stop at the enchanting downtown area, the Baixa Pombalina. You will get to know the monumental and historic Praça do Comércio, located next to the Tejo River, and also explore the Rossio, Cais do Sodré, and Chiado.
Then, we head to Alfama, one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods. There, you may also explore the narrow streets and stairways where Fado was born. We then head to the bohemian Bairro Alto and the modern Parque das Nações and finish in the emblematic area of Belém, with its many monuments such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries and the Belém Tower. Visit (included) to the Jerónimos Monastery.
At the end, you will be able to taste the delicious ‘‘Pastel de Belém’’ (optional), one of the most popular specialties of Portugal. Return to the hotel. End of our services.
Note: on Mondays and public holidays, the visit will take place at the Ajuda National Palace.
